प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने नागरिकों से हमारे स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों को डिजिटल ज्योत पर अपनी श्रद्धांजलि साझा करने और ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ को मजबूत करने का आग्रह किया है।
ट्वीट्स की एक श्रृंखला में, प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा;

डिजिटल ज्योत प्रौद्योगिकी का उपयोग करता है और आपको स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के प्रति आभार का हार्दिक संदेश साझा करने में सक्षम बनाता है।”
“दिल्ली के सेंट्रल पार्क में एक स्काई बीम लाइट लगाई गई है। दी गयी प्रत्येक श्रद्धांजलि डिजिटल ज्योत की रोशनी को और तेज करेगी। इस विशिष्ट प्रयास में भाग लें और ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ को मजबूत करें।”
