Jamshedpur: A training session was conducted by SAFE in Kudy Mahanty Auditorium for 230 students and 30 SAFE coordinators of 27 schools.
Session was inaugurated by Ms Nandini Shukla, Principal KSMS and Mr Neeraj Sinha, Chief Safety Tata Steel. Topics covered were Safe Unsafe Touch, Road Safety and Cyber Safety. Booklet on safe unsafe touch was also rolled out on this occasion by dignitaries. Ms Nandini Shukla encouraged students to take maximum benefit of the sessions by making it more interactive. Mr Neeraj Sinha shared his own experiences to stress that how safety precautions prevent disasters.
Speakers on the session were Ms Rashmi Kauntia from CII- Young Indians, Ms Mom Mitra and Mr Anuj Kumar from Tata Steel. Ms Mom Mitra Convener SAFE informed that target audience of this session were students of Std III to Std VIII and SAFE will continue organising such sessions with relevant topics for children.
SAFE is a conglomerate of schools of Jamshedpur chaired by Mrs Ruchi Narendran. Tata Steel facilitates this initiative by organizing various mock drills in schools and through training on relevant topics.
