Gumla/Jamshedpur/Ranchi: Tata Steel Foundation distributed medical equipment and furniture to five different medical facilities in the Gumla district of Jharkhand on October 21.
Gumla is one of the 5 districts where Tata Steel Foundation has covered the deployment and distribution of medical equipment. The District Commissioner of Ghumla has instructed all the civil surgeons and MoU IS to account for all of the equipment and furniture and put it to good use as soon as possible.
Distribution of the equipment and hospital furniture, distributed in 5 places – the district hospital of Gumla as well as the CHC facilities in Bharno, Bishunpur, Basia and Sisai villages of Gumla.
The distribution of equipment was done by the district administration based on inputs by the civil surgeons and medical staff.
