Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Sports Department organised Inter-Division Badminton Tournament during November 28-30 at Mohan Ahuja Badminton Hall, JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Total 31 units participated in the tourney. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Vice President, Tata Workers’ Union and Chairman, Sports Advisory Committee and Ashish Kumar, Head, Sports, Tata Steel were the Chief Guest and distributed the prizes to the winners. Jharkhand Badminton Association (JBA) President Prabhakar Rao and Olympian Anand Menezes were also present on the final day.
Tournament was played on the basis of Team Championship. Each match was a set of 21 points. Detailed results as follows:
