With a view to clear the extra rush of passengers, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Weekly Special Train between Shalimar-Tambaram-Shalimar leaving Shalimar every Thursday from 02.02.2023 to 23.02.2023 (4 trips) and leaving Tambaram every Saturday from 04.02.2023 to 25.02.2023 (4 trips).
08041 Shalimar-Tambaram Special will leave Shalimar at 23:50 hrs and will reach Tambaram at 14:45 hrs, on the third day. In the return direction, 08042 Tambaram-Shalimar Special will leave Tambaram at 19:00 hrs and will reach Shalimar at 07:40 hrs, on the third day. The Special will have sixteen Sleeper Class and four General Second Class coaches and will stop at Santragachi, Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chaibasa, Dangoaposi and Banspani in SER jurisdiction
