Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadav on Friday expressed dissatisfaction over the tardy pace in completing development projects under District Mineral Fund Trust (DMFT).
During the progress review meeting held in the district collectorate on Friday, District Magistrate Jadav expressed disappointment over incompletion of the projects undertaken in financial years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
Jadav also warned to blacklist the contractors of Drinking Water and Sanitation department if the projects were not completed by February end.
Several projects were delayed by three months from stipulated timeframe for completion.
She directed to complete the projects by February end at any cost or action would be initiated to blacklist them.
DC also thoroughly reviewed the Rural Development Special Division and Education department’s projects under DMFT and asked them to complete within the timeframe.
DRDA Director Saurabh Sinha, District Transport Officer Dinesh Ranjan, District Project Officer Arun Dwedi and other engineers and officials of concern department were present in the meeting.
