Seraikela (Jharkhand): An alert driver has saved the lives of passengers when the bus suddenly caught fire near Kuju river under Rajnagar police station of Seraikela-Kharswan district today.
The bus was on its way to Chaibasa from Jamshedpur when the driver spotted emanating from the engine of the vehicle and immediately applied brakes.
All the passengers got down with their luggage.
Later, the fire was under control with the help of local residents and averted a major mishap.
Police has been informed of the incident and the cause of the fire being investigated.
