Jamshedpur :Police seizes sacks of Bhang pellets

Jamshedpur: A consignment of cannabis (bhaang) was recovered from Mango bus terminal here on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip off, a police team recovered pellets of bhaang stuffed in 25 sacks from a bus this morning, police said.

The recovery was made from Patna-Tata bus.

No one was arrested in this regard even as police began investigation.

The cost of the cannabis recovered could not be assessed yet.

The districts police has launched a massive drive against drug peddlers in view of increasing addiction of narcotics in and around the steel city.
