Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Sports Department kicks off a week-long Life Saving Course at JRD Tata Sports Complex here today.
The course would continue till March 14. Total 25 trainees are participating which included life guards from swimming pool at JRD Tata Sports complex, cadets from Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, athletic trainees of sports department, Beldih Club employees and participants from Ranchi as well.
Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari, Chief Tata Football Academy (TFA) & Sports was the Chief Guest during the inaugural event. Hemant Gupta, Head Sports & Tata Steel Adventure Foundation was also present and encouraged the participants.
Gopal Naskar is the Course coordinator. This course was last held two years back before Covid.
