Mumbai: Bollywood Actor-Director Satish Kaushik, who became famous for his role as Calender in actor Anil Kapoor-Sridevi led “Mr. India” passed away in Gurugram at the age of 66 on wee hours of Thursday.
A day before his death, Kaushik attended a Holi party hosted by Javed Akhtar and his wife-actor Shabana Azmi at their home in Mumbai. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Kaushik shared a series of pictures as he celebrated the occasion with his friends from the Hindi film industry.

National award winner actor Anupam Kher, an intimate friend of Kaushik, confirmed the news of his death in a twit.
Kaushik died following a heart attack. Kaushik was on his way to a friend’s place in Gurugram when he started feeling uneasy and asked his driver to take him to hospital.
Kaushik, however, could not be save after he suffered heart attack in the car.
His body was shifted to Delhi’s Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital from Fortis hospital in Gurugram for postmortem on Thursday. His mortal remains will be flown to his home in Mumbai today afternoon after the postmortem finishes. Bollywood celebs such as Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut and Sharad Kelkar, among many others, condoled his death. In a twit, Union minister Amit Shah also expressed grief over Kaushik’s demise.
