Chakradharpur: Three peddlers were arrested with over 1.5 kgs of narcotics, cash and firearm in Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum district, a police officer today said.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chakradharpur) Kapil Chaudhary said acting on tip off, the police team arrested the trio with over 1.800 kgs of ganja, Rs.1.70 lakhs and a country-made pistol.
Police had information about illegal trading of contraband in Gangkholi on Saturday night.

The police team conducted raid in the Gangkholi last night, police officer said adding that three persons identified as Ganju Munda of Kumbhatoli, Suraj Banra and Sagar Ram of Gangkholi were arrested and recovered ganja, cash and firearm in the process.

Ganju Munda and Suraj Munda had been to jail in the past in connection with loot and snatching incident.
