Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav and Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar along with senior officials on Tuesday visited several parts of steel city and inspected the arrangement made for the Hindu Nav Varsh processions to be taken out later in the day.
The yatra (procession) to be taken out from various parts of the city including the massive procession from Subhash Maidan near MGM Hospital while another procession will start from Kadma Ganesh Puja maidan.
The Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Police also inspected the procession routes as well as Aambagan, Sakchi and given necessary directions to officials to ensure peaceful yatra.
SSP said adequate numbers of magistrates and police personnel were deputed to maintain law and order during the event.
Adequate police force have been deputed in all sensitive areas of the city.
Jadhav said administration will keep vigil on miscreants from CCTV cameras and Drones. Besides, the procession will be videographed to ensure that the prevailing peace and tranquility was not disturbed.
The deviation of route will not be allowed during the yatra, she said while the playing of music system and DJ prohibited in view of ongoing board examinations.
