JAMSHEDPUR।
Samarth Pandey, a student of St. XI of D.B.M.S English School presented his project in the category of Behavioral & Social Sciences at the IRIS National Fair 2022-23 which was held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi from the 20th of January, 2023 to 22nd January, 2023.
Each year Research based Science projects of young budding students are received across several subject categories before an eminent jury comprising Scientists and Domain experts. 95 projects are then short listed to be showcased at the Annual IRIS National Fair. Samarth’s project was among them.
SAMARTH’S PROJECT WON THE GRAND AWARD AND HE WILL REPRESENT INDIA AT THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR (ISEF) WHICH WILL BE HELD AT DALLAS, TEXAS USA FROM MAY 13TH TO MAY 19TH 2023. HE IS ONE AMONG THE 20 LUCKY FINALISTS FROM ALL OVER INDIA WHO WILL REPRESENT TEAM INDIA AT THE ISEF 2023 IN DALLAS.
Samarth’s project on Brainwave stimulation as a technique for preventing Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Insomnia and improving cognitive abilities won him accolades. Students at D.B.M.S English School are utilising their ATAL Tinkering Lab and achieving stupendous success by way of their projects at both National & International Level.
This is the second time that one of our students has been selected for the International Grand Award. The first being Subhigya Priyansh at the Initiative for Research & Innovation in STEM (IRIS) National Fair held from January 22nd- January 24th 2020 at Paalanaa Bhavana, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He too had been selected to represent team INDIA at CALIFORNIA IN 2020.
