Jamshedpur: A 15-year-old boy, who had gone missing since March 3, was recovered from Swarnarekha river bed near Kamargoda today.
The family members identified the body as that of Piyush Srivastav, a resident of Bajrang path in Uliyan, Kadma. The family expressed suspicion that Piyush was murdered and registered a case, police said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem in MGM Hospital.
Family members said Piyush, who was to appear for matric examination, had went out on his ranger bicycle on the night of March 3, assuring them to return home soon. However, he did not return since then.
They filed a missing report in the Kadma police station next day after their massive search for him in all possible places went in vain.
