Jamshedpur: Three persons were caught red-handed for organizing “Habba dabba” (gambling) in uranium township of Jadugora under Jadugora police station on Saturday, police said.
The accused Naresh Kumar Giri (42 yrs), a resident of Parulia village under Musabani police station, Md. Mustafa (63), a resident of Musabani No.3, New Colony road, near Idgah masjid under Musabani police station and Gulabddin (60 yrs) of Bada Kanjia under Dumaria police station of East Singhbhum, were arrested red-handed for conducting gambling.
Police have also seized Rs.34015/- and other gambling related items from the spot.
A case under sections 290/420 IPC and section 11 of gambling act has been registered in this regard.
All the accused were forwarded to judicial custody today.
