Jamshedpur: Tata Motors-a leading global automobile manufacturer of cars, utility vehicles, pick-ups, trucks and buses, offering extensive range of integrated, smart and e-mobility solutions- today paid homage to its Founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, also regarded as the legendary ‘Father of Indian Industry,” on his 184th Birth Anniversary.
Celebrated as Founder’s Day, the flagship event happens every year at the Jamshedpur Plant on March 3 to pay tribute to the founder’s vision of an industrial future with community welfare at its core.

The day-long celebration began with Tata Steel’s Vice Chairman, Mr Noel Naval Tata, offering floral tribute to our founding father along with Vishal Badshah, VP CV Operations and other dignitaries, Honorary guests across the Tata Group.
T. V. Narendran, Global CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel, also graced the occasion with his presence.
The employees from Tata Motors as well as Tata Group paid homage to the founder.
Commenting on the occasion Mr Vishal Badshah, VP CV Operations, Tata Motors said, “Today is a very special day for all of us at Tata Motors as we pay homage to our founder J N Tata, whose legacy remains anchored in the ethos of business conduct throughout the Group. We celebrate this day to convey a sense of pride and fulfilment about being part of the Tata family.
Following the homage ceremony, the Vice Chairman, Tata Steel met with the entire senior leadership team and toured our state-of-the-art production facility at the new trim line factory. He inaugurated the Solar Panel at the Auto general office carport and the rooftop solar panel of the RBT (Roller Brake Test) area through the Control Tower at the General office ground floor. With this inauguration, Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur facility’s onsite solar plant capacity will increase from 6.3 MWp to 7.5 MWp, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing. The future range of products and aggregates was also especially showcased by the team on this memorable occasion.
