Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (Tata Steel UISL)’s endeavor to increase and sustain the green cover of the city, enhance quality of life of residents, encourage physical activities and provide intrinsic environmental benefit to nearby residents, a Park was inaugurated in Ramnagar, Kadma in the gracious presence of Banna Gupta, Jharkhand Minister of Health & Family welfare, Medical education and Disaster Management, Bidyut Baran Mahato, Jamshedpur Member of Parliament, Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL and other senior officials of Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL along with the local residents of Kadma.
Jamshedpur witnessed the inauguration of the Ramnagar Park at Kadma, behind Arogya Bhavan, today.
Ramnagar Park is located behind Arogya Bhavan, Kadma. It has a total area of 5.5 acres with a walking track of 400 Sqm . The park has an open gym with 18 equipment like Aerial Stoller, Abs board double, Shoulder twirl double, Surf board, Shoulder exerciser, Double parallel bar, Ovate stepper, Leg stretch, Aero rider, Leg Extension, Ipt Upg Chest Press Double, Forearm Twirl Double, Hip Twister Triple, Circular Pull Up Station, Crystal Maze, S Bridge Ladder, Set Bonny Exercise Bike and IPT UPG Hand Rower, to improve the “Quality of Life, health and fitness of citizens.
There are 2 high masts for illumination along with one Solar Deep Bore Well and other lighting arrangements. The park also has one Yoga Platform, play areas, washroom/toilet facilities, drinking water facility, designated parking for four and two-wheeler vehicles and 12 garden benches
The park is adorned with a variety of trees like Fish Tail Palm(Carota urens), Imperial Palm (Roystenia regia), Fox tail palm (Wodyetia bifurcate), Chamaedorea palm (Chamaedorea elegans), Chinese Palm (Livstona chinensis),Cycus (Cycus revoluta), Zamia palm (Zamia sp), Sita Ashok (Saraca asoca), Tecoma avelandi . There is also a dedicated space for plantation of approx. 400 nos of teak saplings to enhance the green cover of the park.
Ramnagar Park will be open in the morning from 5:00am to 8:00am and in the evening from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
