Jamshedpur: The Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav and Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar today inspected the Gopal Maidan, where Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was schedule to address a public meeting on March 23.
The DC and SSP also take stock of the ongoing preparation and enquired about the progress in regard with the erecting a pandal and a stage for the proposed visit of the minister.
They have issued necessary directives to the officials.
They said the stage is all set to host the programme. We have deputed magistrates and adequate security arrangement have been made to ensure law and order.
During his brief stay in the city, the minister will lay the foundation online of a elevated double decker corridor between Pardih Kali Mandir to Baliguma here.
Besides, he also lay foundation of some development projects while inaugurate some other.
Gadkari will also address a public meeting at Gopal Maidan during his proposed visit.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur Mahanagar Committee of BJP geared up to give the minister a grand welcome to the city as well as to make the programme a grand success.
BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar Committee along with the Presidents of its various cells and Mandal Committees had a meeting in the office of BJP local Member of Parliament Bidyut Baran Mahato to chalk strategy to make the programm a grand success.
They discussed about various aspects related to the programme.
BJP Mahanagar Committee President Gunjan Yadav said Gadkari ji’s visit will be historic as a long-awaited dream of fly-over of Jamshedpureans would be fulfilled.
The flyover will relieve people from various problem being faced by them daily for years.
Yadav said the dream of the citizen of Jamshedpur is turning into reality because of the unrelenting effort of our Member of Parliament Bidyut Baran Mahato. The elevated double decker corridor was one among the dream projects of Mahato, he said.
Apart from 10.5 kms corridor, Yadav said Gadkari ji will also inaugurate a four-lane road between Saherbeda to Mahulia.
The elevated double decker corridor will be developed at a cost of Rupees two thousand crores, BJP leader said adding that the corridor will also decide the structure of the modern city during next hundred years.
Yadav said hundreds of party workers led by their respective mandal committee presidents will take our a motorcycle rally carrying the party flag and banner and escort the minister from Sonari aerodrome to the Gopal Maidan, the venue of the programme.
