Jamshedpur: A massive cleanliness drive was launched in different river ghats by Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) in view of ensuing Chaiti Chhat festival.
The drive was launched on the directive of JNAC Special Officer Sanjay Kumar.
The drive was carried out in Swarnarekha ghat, Pandey Ghat, Domuhani ghat, Naya pool ghat, Sati ghat, Sub-station ghat, Beli Bodhanwala ghat, besides Jemco Manifit pond.
The objective was to Chhat devotees could not face any difficulty and perform puja in neat and clean ambience.
The drive led by City Manager Christina Kashyap was launched with the help of twelve supervisors and cleaned various river ghats.
