Jamshedpur: Five under-construction buildings being developed in deviation of norms were sealed by the officials of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee in Golmuri and Sonari police stations limit of Jamshedpur on Tuesday.
Based on the complaints about illegal construction, the JNAC’s fly squad team led by City Manager Sonal Singh and Joy Gudia conducted inspection on the directive of JNAC Special Officer Sanjay Kumar.
The team found that the fourth floor of a building was being constructed illegally near H P petrol pump at Golmuri roundabout, which has been sealed.
The team also sealed fourth and fifth floors of a building being developed unlawfully on holding no.18, Line No.2, Tuiladungri in Golmuri.
Similarly, fifth floor of building on holding no.1364 and 1365 in Naya Line, third and fourth floor of a building being constructed over the holding no. E/218 A block and third and fourth floors over holding no. 353,West Block, NLO, all in Sonari were also sealed after the ongoing construction work was stopped.
