Jamshedpur: Press Club of Jamshedpur on Sunday organized a friendly cricket match at Jairam Sporting Club Durga Puja Maidan in Adityapur in memory of former Director of Inside Jharkhand News late Pravin Singh.
The match was played between Jamshedpur Media XI versus Adityapur Media XI.
The friendly match was inaugurated by former MLA (It jagath)-cum-a Social worker Arvind Singh, who happens to be the elder brother of Pravin Singh.
In his inaugural address, Arvind Singh praised the efforts of Press Club of Jamshedpur in organizing the Media Cup.
Both the team members as well as Director of Inside Jharkhand News Ankur Singh paid rich floral tribute on the portrait of Pravin Singh along with the three times former legislator from Ichagarh.
They also observed a minute silence to pay condolence to the former Director of the news portal.
He also hailed the Press Club of Jamshedpur for hosting the friendly match in memory of Pravin Singh amidst the ongoing Media Cup Tennis ball cricket tournament in Jamshedpur.
Arvind Singh assured that his family will stand rock solid with the Press Club of Jamshedpur forever as Pravin Singh did.
The President of Press Club of Jamshedpur Sanjeev Bhardwaj felicitated Navin Singh, the eldest brother of Arvind Singh and Pravin Singh, on the occasion.
Bhardwaj said Pravin ji was cricket lover and used to take part in the media cup. In fact, he used to extend all possible support to make the event a success.
Among the journalists, the Director of Inside Jharkhand News Ankur Singh, Jharkhand Jitendra Kumar, the Working President of Press Club of Jamshedpur Ravi Jha, Former President Srinivas, Pramod Jha, Kaushal Singh, Anwar Sharif, Sumit Jha, Manpreet Singh, Ravi shankar, Sanjeev mehta, Chandrasekhar,.
