South Eastern Railway is observing Swachhata Pakhwara as a part of Swachh Rail Swachh Bharat Mission from 16th September, 2022 to 2nd October, 2022. Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway, initiated the Swachhata Pakhwara by administering Swachhata Pledge to officers and staff at SER Headaquarters, Garden Reach today (16.09.2022).
South Eastern Railway employees took oath to maintain cleanliness at workplace and keep India as a neat and clean country. SER officers and staff took pledge to remain committed towards cleanliness and devote time for this.
Sri Atulya Sinha, Additional General Manager, Sri P.K.Mandal, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer and other Principal Head of the Departments, senior officers and staff of South Eastern Railway Headquarters were present at the pledge taking ceremony. A Nukkad Natak was also performed at SER headquarters by members of S E Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides to create awareness about cleanliness.
Several programmes on Swachhata Pakhwara were also organised at four divisions of South Eastern Railway viz. Kharagpur, Adra, Chakradharpur and Ranchi with active participation of railway officers and staff. Cleanliness Drive was conducted at all the divisions of SER.
