The Chief Minister had visited the village of the martyr
During the first phase of the Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar campaign the Chief Minister visited Veer Shaheed Nilamber Pitamber’s birthplace at Koney Village. During the said visit, the farmers of the village put forward their demand for irrigation facilities to be made available to them. They expressed their concern about the lack of irrigation facilities which results in their inability to do farming for a longer period of time. This added on to their difficulties of sustaining and providing for their families. The farmers also expressed that irrigating the fields with diesel-pumps is a loss-making affair for them. Hence, they sought help from the authorities and the government to make arrangements that should facilitate them in farming.
Family members of the martyr have been covered under the umbrella of various schemes*
During the visit the Chief Minister met the great-grandson of brave martyr Nilamber Pitamber, Komal Kharwar who expressed that he has been deprived of the benefits of all the schemes. Upon taking cognizance of the issue, the Chief Minister instructed the concerned authorities which resulted in the family members of the martyr being linked to Aawas Yojana, Pashudhan Yojana along with a host of other schemes.
