Chakradharpur: A body of 22-year-old youth was recivered by police from Jamra forest on Bandgaon-Khunti border under Bandgaon police station of West Singhbhum district today.
On receiving the information, a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body identified as Tinkus Nayak, a native of Hindpidi village under Murhu police station of Khunti district, police said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem in a hospital in Chakradharpur and police began investigation.
A grievous injury mark was detected on the deceased head.
Police suspect that Nayak was murdered elsewhere and the body was dumped on the West Singhbhum-Khunti border area.
Police was investigation from all possible angle including his possible link with extremist group.
A case in this regard was registered on the statement of the victim’s father.
